CrossFit Group Classes

CrossFit Pacific Coast has mastered the “Art of CrossFit” – teaching people how to move well, lift well, build aerobic capacity, and generally get more fit. We want our members to live long and prosper, and our CrossFit Program can help do just that.

When it comes to movement standards and coaching, we have set the bar extremely high. We have built a unique brand of CrossFit placing emphasis on each individual. We make sure that each person gets the most out of every class and exercise, tailoring the workout specifically to fit each person’s abilities and needs.

Each class consists of a coach-led dynamic warm-up or mobility session that focuses on activating and engaging the specific parts of the body and energy system that will be worked that day. We then go into our strength or skill portion with different tiers of programming available to suit each person’s level. After putting in some good work, we move onto the conditioning portion which is varied, intense, and fun! We finish off with a cool down making sure you take necessary steps to recover.

*A note about safety: Some CrossFit movements are more advanced and can be complex, taking time to master. Safety is always CrossFit Pacific Coast’s number one priority. We scale each workout specific to every individual’s skill, strength, and ability.

CPC On-Ramp

We want everyone who enters our CrossFit group training to feel like they’re ready to integrate SAFELY and EASILY into classes. We believe each person should also be confident in knowing they have fueled their body properly for the training and to get their desired results. This is why those who are new to CrossFit complete our 3-month On-Ramp including four, one-on-one 60-minute “Gravitas Fundamentals” sessions, nutrition consultations with our certified nutrition coach, and unlimited group classes. These sessions introduce new athletes to the basic movements of CrossFit including:

  • Squat (back, overhead, and front)

  • Deadlift

  • Hang power clean

  • Hang power snatch

  • Presses

  • Bodyweight movements

The emphasis of these sessions are technique and introducing the intense (but fun) nature of the CrossFit methodology. These one-on-one sessions will allow you to integrate EASILY and SAFELY into our regular CrossFit classes. The sessions are scheduled at a time convenient to you.

CrossFit Legends

(Ages 50+)

For those 50+ years young, our focus is on stability, flexibility, strength, and keeping Gravitas Legends young as long as possible!

  • We use general CrossF programming principles, but we modify a great deal to ensure safety

  • We focus on functional movements that will create stability and strength in all aspects of movement and life

  • Improve your quality of life and keep it going!

3 Reasons to Incorporate Weight Training as We Age:

  1. Keep Muscle Mass: The rate of muscle loss increases as we age. Incorporating strength training reduces the rate of loss and in turn helps us in all areas of life and in other activities – rowing, hiking, cycling – whatever else we do!

  2. Reduce Injury and Fatigue: As we age our joints can become weak, stiff and sore unless we include physical activity. Weak joints are more vulnerable to injury from falls, twists or even picking up the groceries.

  3. Counteract the Loss of Lean Mass: For many of us our appetites are reduced as we age. Consequently, we eat less, maybe too much less, and lose muscle mass along with weight. Maintaining muscle mass is vitally important.

In our Personal Training program you will receive:

Before beginning a personal training series, each athlete will sit down with their designated coach and discuss the client’s history, goals, desires, prior stumbling blocks, and motivational preferences.

Together with their coach, a tailored plan of training, nutrition, and lifestyle pieces will be laid out to ensure the highest level of satisfaction and success. Then that plan will be executed with the coach right there guiding you every step of the way!

Nutrition Program

NUTRITION IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERYTHING WE DO

You can’t out-exercise a bad diet. CrossFit makes you accountable: The workouts are 3x harder if you eat cookies the night before, but we’ve known for YEARS that we could do better. 

Our Nutrition program (like our CrossFit and Personal Training Programs) combines behavioral change with achievement to create habits that will last a LIFETIME. No shakes, no short-term.

 

 Membership Options

Unlimited

Unlimited access to all CrossFit Pacific Coast classes plus open gym.

  • Unlimited Individual: $260/month

  • Unlimited Family: $440/month for 2 people + $200/month for every additional family member.

3 Days/Week

3 days of CrossFit classes or open gym sessions per week, check-in required.

  • 3-Day Individual: $240/month

  • 3-Day Family: $400/month for 2 people + $190/month for every additional family member.


 

Drop-In Rates

If you are just passing through town, we charge a drop-in fee of $30 per day or offer a week-long punch pass for $120. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign (our insurance friends make us do this) and introduce you to our box.

Joseph is a board-certified athletic trainer and corrective exercise specialist. With over 20 years of experience and multiple certifications, Joseph possesses a unique set of therapeutic skills to help a wide range of clients. Each bodywork session is specifically catered to the client’s unique needs and is meant to reduce pain, increase function, and educate on daily best practices.
