Why Zombie Apocalypse Training? At CrossFit Pacific Coast we use the inevitable* zombie apocalypse as an analogy for being prepared for the unknown rigors of life. Overall fitness entails being capable of running a 5K, scaling a fence, properly picking up and supporting a heavy load, and also maintaining a lean and healthy body weight. In fitness terms, this is a “general physical preparedness” program.
