AGE IS JUST A NUMBER.

Video from KarmaTube

Awesome, awesome, awesome!

It took me about three years to decided to go to grad school and one of the main challenges was that in my mind, since it took four years to graduate, if I entered at 26 then I wouldn’t be through until I was 30 – which was way too old to start a new profession.

After going back and forth for a while I listened to a Tony Robbins talk where he asked someone in a similar predicament, “Well how old will you be in four years if you don’t go to school?” and there it was. Just start and see what happens.

Anyone have a goal that they’ve been putting off for way too long and feel like getting started on? Post to comments, you’ve got one hell of resourceful community behind you.

My goals are more modest. - Top 1/4 finish in my age division in the CF Open. - Fully understand the Norwegian dialogue in "Lilyhammer" without resort to subtitles. - Find a good pinot noir for under $20. - Get Snyder out of debt and happily stuck in SB. Claw

That quote really comes home. Never to old just takes more to realize this.

Start my own company. Employ Snyder do he can be debt free so he can stay in SB. Challenge auguie every class so he and I can be less than 200 before 2013. Do 30 muscle ups in less than an hour. And Meet Tony Robbins in person, I've been listening to his work for years. Traver/Claw your level of awesomeness just went up a notch after you both quoted Tony Robbins!

Dang. 75. I've got 24 more years to perfect my power cleans. My goal is for Snyder to be debt free and to stay in Santa Barbara. 'You can sleep when you are dead' has always been my guide-star quote. I would like to weigh less than 200 lbs for the first time in two decades sometime in 2013.

Grad school. Take writing seriously. Solo scooter multi-state road trip. Understand vehicle maintenance(probably a precursor to the preceding goal).

That quote by Tony Robbins -- which I read in Dear Abby -- is exactly why I went to law school at age 29. Claw

My goal is to be debt free and move to NYC by my birthday next year.
