NEXT WEEK’S SPONSOR AND CHALLENGE!

Since the Bonus Challenge runs from Monday to Sunday, we’ll be announcing this week’s winner for Revolution Wellness on Tuesday of next week – keep that water consumption up for the weekend!

This week, we’re pleased to announce that Lululemon here in SB has sponsored this week’s challenge. Laura, their manager has recently moved to SB from Texas and is a huge fan of CrossFit! She’s generously donated a fit session for a guy and a girl, where the good people at Lululemon invite you in, help you find the perfect product(s) for your activity/sport, and gift you with one piece of product! Thank you to Laura for supporting us this week.

Here’s this week’s Bonus Challenge – Mindfulness – every day for at least 10 minutes straight (no tabata’ing this) spend time in meditation, contemplation, or writing in a journal. The goal is to use this time to quiet your mind and reflect. This should be done some where and some time where distraction, interruption, and/or your cell phone and the interweb aren’t readily available.

“When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.” –Alan Watts

"Sleep is the best meditation." Dalai Lama damn, I don't think this is what CPC has in mind for this week's bonus :)

What a great idea. I think I will compete to win, if only to see the faces of the fine folks at Lulu when a 6’10″, 300lb giant comes through the door saying “I’m here for my Lululemon fitting". Shirtless. (fixed)
