Hopefully by now you have all seen the documentary on juicing, “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.” Eric and I wondered what would happen to two people who underwent a juice fast that weren’t a hundred pounds overweight and weren’t suffering from Urticaria. In essence, we want to know what would happen to two highly active CrossFitters who tried the same experiment. Neither of us feel that we need to devote 60 straight days to this endeavor but are going to stick with it (unless all hell breaks loose) for 10 days and see what happens.
We’ve forewarned our significant others that simply reducing our bacon intake has induced ferocious rage-filled tantrums in the past so we both would like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize for any future outbursts over the next week and a half.
Bacon, we will miss you but we also know that you’ll be there for us ready with a variety of your flavors for our triumphant completion.
Wish us luck folks, and stay tuned for some video updates that we’ll be taking throughout the process. Our goal is to continue working out and coaching without any major changes to our level of output. We have no idea if this will be sustainable or possible but are going to give it a go.
