For those of you who want to compete in CrossFit, this seminar should be a no-brainer. For those who love Oly lifting and want to see your PR’s skyrocket, this is a no-brainer as well. The coaching staff here knows how often we are asked to look at somebody’s form on the Snatch, Clean, and Jerk. Coach T is the guy you want watching for sure. He’s the guy coaches go to to be coached.
If you’re on the fence…do it!

Ugh I’m out of town again! This happened the last time coach was here – I hope that you will again invite him so that I may participate!

This video is super cool. When we were working on our Split Jerks last week I totally noticed an over extension of the knee, or a slight angel of the foot inward or outward totally affected how my body balanced the weight, my efficiency of lifting the weight, and my capability of maintaining the weight above my head for any amount of time. I think it would be fun one day to video some of our lifting skills and do a mini gym play back session. I am a visual learner and if I can see what my body is doing, or a tendency I have that need correction, the more likely I am to work on that skill.

Here’s a counterpoint arguing against Oly lifts, basically on the theory they take too long to get right, and are therefore too dangerous. They suggest lots of box jumps, with multiple variations, instead.
Interesting points, and another good reason to attend a seminar with high-quality coaching. (I’m planning on being there, assuming my schedule does not blow up between now and then.)
