BOX JUMP. AUG. 28TH

Saturday August 28th is going to be awesome! Not only are we holding our H2O seminar, teaching swimming skills to a ton of triathaletes and CrossFitters, but our good friends at Paradiso CrossFit in Los Angeles are coming up for a “box jump”. David, Martina and Zeb (all hail Grandmaster Zeb!!) will be gathering their crew and heading up our way to do a workout with us. What is the benefit of going to other boxes you ask? Well, it’s always great to get to meet other CrossFitters, the people that share the same obsession as all of us. Secondly, it’s a great way to share ideas, get tips on movements, see new coaching styles and have a lot of fun. We’re excited to have the Parodisoites up our way and hope that you all show up for the workout!
Today’s Workout:
AMRAP 20 Minutes (3 minutes of work/1 minute of rest)
3 Deadlifts (225#/135#)
6 Knees to Elbows
9 Push Ups

I must say I have a bad case of the Fiesta Monday’s today, but seeing that we have The CFV challenge on the 14th, and then CF Paradiso coming for a co-op WOD on the 28th makes me very excited for August…. Viva la Monday!

I had a bad case of Fiesta Sunday’s trying to explain to my wife how I had in my shirt pocket business cards from:
1. A hair salonist
2. A Welder from Pacioma
3. A Professor of ‘Sexuality and Sexual Paradigms’ from Chico State (I determined after a heart to heart with him that I went to the wrong university)
4. A service consultant from Pension Mark 401K plans.
If tequila is a a truth serum, then I was in State street CIA central spilling salacious secrets (try to say that five times fast)one barstool at a time. Thank goodness La Fiesta is not a semi-annual as it allows bartenders to forget my face. Aug

Augie… how did I not run into you this weekend?? LOL… I woke up Sunday morning with 11 red roses (thank you Eric B), a corona pinata (thank you shi##y kitty), left over Pascuccis (thank you Donnie and KJ), and tons of confetti all over my apartment… thank you fiesta… no business cards though….hmmmmm!
