CHALLENGE FINALS – THIS SATURDAY!
ByI hope that everyone has their calendar marked for this Saturday! Remember 7 weeks ago coming in and doing your 1 Rep Max Back Squat and 10 minutes of Cindy? Well the time has come again to see just how much improvement you’ve all made over the past 2 months. This Saturday morning we are holding the finals of our challenge and are eagerly looking forward to watching everyone crush it that morning. For those of you that have recently joined while the challenge had already begun, we welcome you to come in and be here to support your fellow CPC’ers in their efforts.
Today’s Workout:
“The Filthy Fifty”
50 Box Jumps
50 Jumping Pull Ups
50 KB Swings
50 Walking Lunges
50 Knees to Elbows
50 Push Press (45#/33#)
50 GHD Back Extensions
50 Wall Balls
50 Burpees
50 Double Unders

What time does it start? Does it replace the regularly scheduled Saturday workouts?

I’m looking forward to doing this WOD again… did it in July last year at a lunch time WOD, along with fielding who rocked it!

Question for T and E about the “Athletic Levels & Milestones” part of the Success Journal. Expert level wallballs says 40 @ 20#. Does this mean without a break, or do the 50 I did with breaks today during Filthy Fifty mean I satisfied this Elite Goal?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I’ll be there to cheer and watch ya’ll on Saturday! I am looking forward to someday doing it myself :0) I hear the Wall’O'Greatness calling my name ha ha… dang 50/50 sounds HARD…. Kate nice hands.. you look like a little kid playing in the dirt :0)

Claw- there’s no loophole here my friend. It’s 40 unbroken for sure. Either way, doing 50 of them in a WOD like that is always an accomplishment.

I think I’m going to post my goals on the bulletin board, so I can start knocking some of them off. For example, today’s warm-up was 3 x 10 wallballs. I could easily — well, maybe not so easily — have modified the warm-up to do these 40 straight and check off part of my list. Similarly, during jump rope warm-up I could have aimed for 40 straight double-unders.
