I couldn't agree more with the fact that you just have to show up no matter what.

As most of you know, I am currently recovering from a hand injury that has left me out of pretty much any WOD that has heavy weight in it besides a back squat, not to mention shin splints on top of that. So after taking some time off I'm back in the game and doing so by creating WOD's that don't have any impact on the parts of my body that are recovering, be they extremity, orifice, whatever the case may be.

After a WOD I take time to ice the injured parts of my body and follow that with some heat to promote healing. Then I like to kick back and relax with a nice cup of Chinese herbs, provided care of Pacific Coast Wellness, in the palatial comfort of my own home. They promote healing and regularity. Hmmmm delicious.

Today was awesome! KJ is right on multiple accounts ... next time tape.

I did my squats next to Jim, who just pumped them out. VERY inspiring!

I agree with KJ, there's always a good reason to just show up!

And if every single muscle in your body is sore and you can't move, you should still show up so your fellow crossfitter can put you on their back and carry you around the block :) there's always a good reason to just show up!

I'm happy Amber watched the video on taping hands yesterday, it came in REALLY "handy" today
